“This was the most amazing, restorative facial ever. Linda is so sweet and knowledgeable and literally made my skin glow. The lymphatic massage felt incredible and my skin looks even better today. Cannot recommend this facial enough!!!”

A Student of Modalities

Linda is a student of modalities. Her curiosity is endless when it comes to learning about the mind, body, and energetic connections. Facial Massage, Facial Reflexology (Dien Chan Zone) Dr. Vodder’s Manual Lympahtic Drainage, Microcurrent, LED, LYMA Laser, Gua Sha, and Sound Therapy are currently among the techniques and tools that Linda uses in her treatment room.

Facial Massage

I tell all of my clients that facial massage is the most impactful form of skincare. The Lymphatic System, Nervous System, Integumentary System, Muscular System, and Circulatory System benefit from effective facial massage. Reflexology/acupressure, lymphatic drainage techniques, and muscle manipulation/lifting are a part of my technique.

Microcurrent

Facial microcurrent is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment that uses low-level electrical currents to educate facial muscles and improve the overall appearance of the skin. This therapy is sometimes referred to as “microcurrent facial” or “non-surgical facelift” or “red carpet facial.  It’s non-invasive and there is no downtime.

Microcurrent Facials are beneficial after a single treatment, however like exercise, a series is recommended for transformational results.

LED

LED light therapy, also known as photobiomodulation or low-level light therapy (LLLT), is a non-invasive skincare treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate various cellular processes in the skin. I use Celluma Pro LED (Light Emitting Diode) device in my treatment room. LED light therapy has gained popularity for its ability to address various skin concerns.

Benefits of LED Light Therapy for the skin include increased circulation collagen production, wound healing, decreased inflammatory, acne treatment, and oil control.

FACIAL REFLEXOGY

Dien Chan Zone’ incorporates simplified principles and teachings of Traditional Chinese Medicine, protocols for allergies and intolerances, a unique Facial-Cranial reflexology and a beauty treatment to tone muscle and regulate skin function. It originated in Vietnam and was developed over the course of 25 years in Italy by Beatrice Moricoli. Beatrice Moricoli

I completed my certification in 2022. I am so proud to have been part of Amala Black of Mirror Medicine’s final Dien Chan Zone class.

Gua Sha

Facial gua sha is a technique that is rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine that releases stagnation, tension, and emotional stress in the tissues, while increasing the microcirculation of fresh nutrients and qi.

Common results include glowing skin, reduced facial inflammation, lifting and toning, and relaxation.

I completed Gua Sha certification with Britta McRae (Plug), co-founder of Wilding Beauty, through Green Beauty Academy in 2021.

LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE

Dr. Vodder’s Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) technique is a specialized massage therapy designed to stimulate the lymphatic system and promote the natural drainage of lymph, a clear fluid that plays a crucial role in immune function and fluid balance within the body. Used during facials it can decrease puffiness, improve skin-tone, and overall skin health.

I completed training and received certification in 2023 through ASTECC for Foundational Face and Neck MLD.

Sound Therapy

Sound Therapy is the practice of using frequencies and vibrations to remove blockages from the mind and body that can be at the root of ailments. The technique that I practice includes wind chimes and metal bowls forged in the Himalayan mountains in Nepal.

In 2023, I completed Levels 1 and 2 of Himalayan Sound Therapy curriculum under the tutelage of Suren Shrestha, Ruby Shrestha, and Kati Walker at Atma Buti Sound and Vibrational School in Boulder, Colorado.

LYMA LASER

The LYMA Laser works on both levels of the skin aging process. Intrinsically, the Laser is able to reach deep down into the base layer of the dermis, where the light energy triggers a genetic switch inside the skin cells telling them not to die off, but to recharge, regenerate and repair. The destruction of healthy skin cells is reversed.

Extrinsically, the light energy of The LYMA Laser also instructs the existing cells to produce more proteins to fight free radicals. Less free radicals means more collagen and elastin.

The LYMA Laser is completely safe to use, even around the eye area, with no need for goggles. This is engineered by two patented internal diffusers that fragment the near infrared light into 25,000 smaller beams. The light energy is completely cold and completely painless.
